Erin and Keddy hired me for their Fort Collins wedding photos after meeting in a nerdy little bar. I say, Fort Collins, even though we did their engagement photos up in the mountains and their wedding in a tiny town out East. Fort Collins just seems to be somewhere in the middle and a much more natural way of describing it all. Erin and Keddy are the ultimate cute nerd couple. What I loved best about their wedding was how they were able to keep things incredibly simple, but also still true to their personalities. After their wedding, I decided my dream wedding cakes are also made out of doughnuts and are also unicorns and robots. I see Voodoo at weddings quite often, but not always to this lovely level of nerdiness.
The wedding was in a backyard, and the house was full of gorgeous antiques. Whenever we can combine nerd stuff with antiques you know, I’m going to be in love. After a cute ceremony under a tree with the wind blowing all the handmade streamers, they celebrated under the patio lights with dancing, nerdy games, and lovely toasts. There was even a daddy-daughter dance for Keddy and his cute little girl!
Can’t wait to see where these two end up in the future! Hopefully, it’s full of excellent nerdy gaming and fun. Erin and Keddy’s wedding was intimate, so sweet, and ideally suited to them. In my experience, that’s the best way to celebrate! Congratulations Erin and Keddy! Even if this blog post is coming late, over a year later!
