There were no Chewbacca crocs at Ashley and Kamil’s Meadowcreek Bed and Breakfast wedding. What am I referring to? Ahhhh…well you must see the engagement photos to truly understand one of my favorite bits of shoewear a client has ever worn. Kamil owned those crocs.
This blog post features a pair of my favorite clients of all time, one of my favorite venues and a blush pink dress. That’s a lot of awesome for one wedding. This was the perfect small wedding, with great friends, family, and a killer Cards Against Humanity-style guest book. I wish these things would have existed when I got married! One of my favorite moments was when they fed each other wedding donuts, and Ashley’s intense bite got Kamil’s finger pretty good. Everyone was laughing, and it was a first for me at a wedding. Now I can officially say I’ve seen people accidentally bite each other at a wedding.
Everyone ate, danced and had a great evening. One of my favorite features of Meadowcreek is everyone just staying right on site. As an avid car-camper for all the weddings I shoot across the state, I had my Subaru car camping system all set up and just stayed overnight. We stayed up late by the bonfire chatting and enjoying the evening. Again, I can’t say how great it was to feel so welcome, loved, and appreciated by clients. I enjoy my work most when it’s like this and Ashley and Kamil just exude that love for everyone around them!
Last, one of my other favorite things about this wedding was the caricature artist (a friend of theirs), who came and created fun art for all the guests. I just loved seeing Kamil’s mom react with laughs when she saw her caricature! It was such a great moment, and what an awesome souvenir to have as a couple too!
