This blog post with Chelsea and Justin’s Denver backyard wedding reception was originally posted 8/20/14, but through years of growth and change it was a bit lost in the archives, and the photos were no longer displaying. Today I’m bringing it back!
Chelsea and Justin finally had their backyard wedding reception this week in Denver and it went off without a hitch! I’m so glad they were able to celebrate with all their friends and family and I had such a great time re-connecting with old clients, friends, and making new friends there! If you missed their ceremony from July you can check it out >here<.
The theme for the decor was grey and yellow and it was cute. Mason jars where you could write your name on them were given so people could keep track of their drinks. Mine obviously had a camera on it. Not to be mistaken for a guest. Justin had even worked on brewing his own beers for the party and there were yummy appetizers everyone enjoyed. Chelsea had a lot of family come from Florida, including her grandma just to attend the party and it was so great to meet them and see everyone laughing and having a great time.
A few of my favorite things were little adorable Harper and her teddy bears. Hello cuteness. The photo booth, lawn games, lights, and toasts were pretty fun too! At the end of the night it was conveniently the last day of the Carnation Festival in Wheat Ridge and we were able to sit outside and watch the fireworks right from Chelsea and Justin’s yard, which was fun and it gave me a chance to experiment with a few fun fireworks-styled photos!
I can’t wait to continue to see what the future has in store for these two and I feel lucky to count them among friends now!
