This blog post with Deanna and Alex’s Evergreen Winter engagement photos was originally posted 12/30/13, but through years of growth and change it was a bit lost in the archives, and the photos were no longer displaying. Today I’m bringing it back!
When it snowed on the date we had scheduled Deanna and Alex’s Evergreen Winter engagement photos I thought we were going to have to reschedule the session and I never reschedule sessions! Thankfully I didn’t have to because Deanna and Alex are all about snowy engagement photos and are getting married in only a few weeks in Winter Park in January! They will be my first wedding of 2014 and I am so excited about their wedding.
Deanna is a dentist and Alex is from Germany and they’re just super relaxed and fun people. I know their wedding is going to be awesome. Any bride who wants a winter wedding is my kind of lady!
Believe it or not these photos were taken back at the beginning of October in one of the first snowfalls of the year, so it wasn’t too chilly and the snow wasn’t too deep. It was just perfect for photos the way it caught on the trees and individual snowflakes were able to show up in some of the images. We went up to Evergreen for these photos and I didn’t think it was snowing too bad until I hit thick fog on I-25 that wouldn’t let me through, which was fun for fall. Anytime there is fog I want to photograph it!
Deanna is pretty much the coolest dentist I’ve ever met and Alex is from Germany! I can’t wait until their wedding and to see what kind of fun photo opportunities we’ll have in the snow and on the ski lifts up in Winter Park with these two.
If anyone else wants to head out for snowy engagement photos, I’m your gal!
