This blog post with Joanie and Mike’s Boulder farm engagement photos was originally posted 11/25/13, but through years of growth and change it was a bit lost in the archives, and the photos were no longer displaying with the actual blog post story. Today I’m bringing these photos back!
Joanie and Mike wanted a mix of Boulder engagement photos with a city sort of downtown flair mixed with awesome vintageness. These are a few of my favorites and even though we were aiming for a couple different options, the settings we found fit that sweet vintage look. We had so much fun! We wandered around downtown Louisville for awhile and were in and out of the rain and we followed that by heading to Three Leaf Farm (my favorite!) Where we hung out with their dogs and set up a little vintage picnic.
During our little vintage picnic they had to bring their whiskey and have a shot, one of Joanie’s favorite photos from the entire session is the face she made after the whiskey shots! We played with the dogs, hung out on the farm and walked around. The best part was taking them in to visit the pigmy goats and hanging out with the two pygmy baby goats, who are teeny and adorable.
I think the awesome thing about Joanie and Mike is that they were pretty much up for anything and we had tons of fun taking silly photos, serious ones, traditional ones, and more. I’m looking forward to continuing to hang out with the two of them as friends now that their wedding is over too (it will be blogged soon as well!)
I also can’t wait to get back out to Three Leaf Farm on warm sunny summer nights again next year! I’m already missing it and visiting all the animals, even the nutty chickens! I’m super thankful to be able to work with them and have them allow my clients and I to intervene on their space periodically! AH! And I can’t wait to share Joanie and Mike’s wedding too! She was the ultimate DIY bride with so many cool decorations and a unique venue!
