This blog post with Miranda and Brandon’s engagement photos was originally posted 8/7/14, but through years of growth and change it was a bit lost in the archives, and the photos were no longer displaying with the actual blog post story. Today I’m bringing these photos back!
Miranda and Brandon’s Fort Collins engagement photos are some of my favorites I’ve taken this summer. Maybe it’s because they were ready for the shoot with a little bit of 1920s speakeasy style! We met at their favorite bar, Ace Gillett’s Lounge, which has a speakeasy vibe and is underneath the Armstrong Hotel in Old Town Fort Collins. It was raining when we got there so we went inside to have drinks and wait out the rain. It was a good time to get to know them better and chat about our favorite nerdy things and tv shows!
I’m so excited for their wedding this September and I think it’s going to be fantastic! I had such a great time shooting their engagement photos and they’re such a laid back, relaxed, and fun couple to hang out with! I feel pretty lucky that all my clients are cool people like these two. Not only did they let me just be a little creative, but they were up for pretty much anything and we walked all over Old Town, Miranda even did it in her heels. She’s a braver person than I am. Heels kill my feet and I’m too chicken to even bother putting them on to see how long I would last.
EEE! Anyway enjoy these engagement photos and hopefully I can fill the blog up with their gorgeous wedding in September of 2014 and their happy faces. Their wedding will also be 1920s Paris France themed. They’re just so freakin’ adorable I can’t stand it!
