This blog post with Mandy and Will’s Halloween wedding photos originally posted 4/9/14, but through years of growth and change it was a bit lost in the archives, and the photos were no longer displaying with the actual blog post story. Today I’m bringing these photos back!
Mandy and Will were a fit for me right away. I just loved them the moment I met them and knew their wedding was going to be a blast. Anyone having a Denver Halloween wedding, please give me a call because you guys are GREAT! After they showed up at their engagement photo session with comic books and nerdness in hand I knew the wedding would be a celebration to remember. Their engagement session also was featured on Bitchless Bride, an online wedding publication for the coolest brides in the world.
The best thing about their wedding was yellow leaves hanging on just long enough to allow us to get creative and be in Fall wedding mode as photographers. My awesome friend Heather Richardson second shot this wedding for me and a couple of these photos are credit to her. After the ceremony at their church we took them out for fun couples photos and then it was time to head to the reception. You could not have a more appropriate ride to the reception than a Hearse. It couldn’t have been more fun for me to ride in the back with the mock coffin.
Every little Halloween wedding detail was done from the cake topper, to the guest costumes, to the ice sculpture. I loved it! Mandy and Will were also crazy enough to invite their guests and their photographer to come in costume. You should never say this to me unless you really want me there in costume and it’s a good thing they did. My hobbit costume complete with pointy ears was perfect for the reception and I blended in with the many guests in costume!
So thankful Mandy and Will allowed me to participate in their day and celebrated in style!
